AUDIT, ASSESSEMENT AND CONSULTATION SERVICES:
- Audit Service Provider – Performing cursory audit of records provided by the client, representing the client in Wage & Hour Division (DOL-WHD) matters, participating in calls and meetings, reviewing / computation of back wage findings, performing any necessary interviews, and recommending a course of action based on the information provided. “Auditing” is not intended to describe a formal financial examination by a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) applying AICPA standards.
- Cursory review / audits are performed of a representative period of payroll & time records to determine compliance.
- Review job descriptions to determine proper employee classification of exempt, non-exempt, and independent contractors.
- Review your existing policies or developing new ones that include your procedures for managing work hours, working off the clock, whether meals and breaks are paid, and how deductions are handled.
- Assist with development of a comprehensive compensation plan for your business.
